ENTRY #060: So It Begins
DATE POSTED: May 2 2007

Hello there, to all who may ever read this.

I am one of millions of people worldwide who considers myself a musical artist. One of the things I love to do the most is to sit down and write a new song, both composure of music and words. I have spent the last five years of my life working on becoming stronger on my ability to write. But today is different. For me, today begins what every musical artist longs to have: a hard-copy, full-length disc of their own recordings ready to be enjoyed on any player in the world. But to reach that point, one must have much ambition and sacrifice delicate time.

So it begins.

It's been a long time since I have had anything of value to report in the Insidious Frustration world, but this is very much worthy of stating. Over the next lengthy period of time, I will be recording the demos for my debut album, "The Life and Mind of Desparity." I have purchased all of the equipment I need to record an amateur demo. This is a significant step because only a month ago, I didn't even have the means to record anything at all. Something fresh and exciting will be coming from Insidious Frustration.

I am now sitting here on a different tangent. In the past three weeks, much of my life has been changed: some for good, and some for just... well... different. As far as a time frame for the new demos is concerned, I seem to follow in the footsteps of one of my musical heroes, Mark Linkous (Sparklehorse). This means that nothing I ever do goes or comes quickly. But I can assure you that only finishing this paragraph and a bottle of Guinness stands between me and the beginning of some recording time.

I hope you are all well. Thank you all for supporting me over the years. You all know who you are that has given me your time and ears.
