ENTRY #059: The Renewal
DATE POSTED: January 14 2007

How's it going?

Insidious Frustration? Yeah, it's an undying project, it always will be. And with the opening of 2007, it should be no surprise that I have nothing to really touch on as far as news is concerned. However, I am confident that 2007 will be the year that the recording process will once again begin, and hopefully (though not an assurance), these recordings will be the demos for the debut album, "The Life and Mind of Desparity."

And to think that five years ago this very date, I wrote the very first Insidious Frustration song, "I've Given Up Again." It really feels like I'm so far behind in recording, and so far ahead in writing. Even with that negative note, it's not a discouraging thought. Despite there only being five songs written in 2006, I am very grateful that I've not been pressed for time to gradually becoming better at writing guitar solos and a heartfelt verse now and again.

The last song of 2006 is one entitled, "Reminiscence," and the lyric has already been posted as well. The first of 2007 should be coming sometime in the near future, entitled "The Renewal of Morning Light." So here's to a great new year! And never forget to be yourself.
