ENTRY #056: Good Things Come to Those Who Wait

Wow. Is it safe for me to say that I don't write in the news section much anymore? I think that's a given. Sorry, I'm the master of the obvious today. Everyday actually. Anyway, I'd like to give a brief summary of what has been happening the past few months in the world of Insidious Frustration.

Noxxus.com is changing, and that's nothing new. I'm always trying to give this site a new and better look, which usually takes more time than I have available. Lately, though, I've devoted a lot of my free time into working on Noxxus, and a few things are starting to come alive. The MERCHANDISE section is now available, though there is no easy way to buy anything as of yet. There are still things for sale. If you'd like to purchase anything, please contact administration at admin@noxxus.com. Simply provide your name, what it is you want, and we'll let you know how you can get it. I apologize for any inconveniences, but I'm well aware that we probably won't have any sales for a while, so I'm in no big hurry to fix this problem.

A new lyrics section is in the works. There are three ways in which you can view the lyrics: IMAGERY / TIMELINE / SONG LIST. Imagery is exactly what it suggests: each song will feature a special image of the lyrics, in which I have handwritten. This section is far from completed, but more images will be added as time goes. The timeline section is a new way to see each song from #1 to present. This section is also incomplete. Song List, the only completed section, is a list of all Insidious Frustration songs in alphabetical order. Easy enough right?

It's been long overdue, but there's finally a new "about us" section. It's actually a new section called THE STORY. It's a short story I wrote in regards to inspiration which has led me in various parts of my life. And also, just about every section of this website will be renewed in some sort of way. Especially this news section... I think it's really ugly. Haha!

MUSIC. That's why you and I are both here. There has been progress by ways of recording, and Insidious Frustration is proud to present the first single, "Awaiting Your Arrival." You can purchase the single in the merchandise section, or download a not-so-great quality version of it in the downloads section (Come on, it can't be full-quality or nobody'll buy the single!!) Awaiting Your Arrival was released on December 13 2005. Yep, this news update is long overdue.

The first single, "Awaiting Your Arrival," was never really meant to be a single. I simply needed a good song to experiment with, since I'm new in the recording world. Now that we have that under our belt, we're headed on the intended road: I'm currently working on "Movement of Desparity" compilation, one of two EPs that will support the upcoming debut album, "The Life and Mind of Desparity."

In other news, Insidious Frustration's old recording studio, "The Hotbox," has officially deceased. The new recording studio, dubbed "The White Sapphire," is born into the new year of 2006. I hope that The White Sapphire will be the birth of our long awaited debut.

I now come to an end for this news update. Lastly, I wanted to note that there hasn't been any new songs written since November 2005's "Light Your Way." Do not fear: I'm simply working on recording rather than writing, so everyone can be assured that more songs will come eventually.
