INSIDIOUS FRUSTRATION

ENTRY #047: In Reverse For In Reverse I apologize for the recent drought in writings. It has been a little over a month since I've added something new to the list of Insidious Frustration songs. Finally, a new song has been added to the list, titled "Rest Assured." I actually started writing this song about two months ago and just never got around to finally finishing it. But here's the story behind the song: About six months ago, Brad Kremitzki, a former member of the inexistant band, informed me that he didn't see a future in what I have been calling Insidious Frustration. I can understand how he feels. This isn't going anywhere as of right now. For him, seeing is believing. I don't need to see something to believe it. I don't currently see anything happening to Insidious Frustration right now, but I can feel a future. But with his decision, I had to drop Memories of Old from the second album, In Reverse, due to copyrights. Dropping that song took a chunk out of the album, because that required me to go back and redo the whole mess. To the Depths of Nothing has had a complete makeover, now titled "Final Movement." I have decided to have this lovely instrumental track to be the opener for the album. Rest Assured will follow, and the drumline for the song leads straight into Not Mine (I Confide). So maybe the change in the album is for the better. In fact, I know it is. So the long awaited "Rest Assured" is now available in the lyrics section, and it's really nothing to get all that excited about as far as lyrics go, but you are all more than welcome to check it out. Several other songs still have yet to be completed, and I expect that this slow arrival of songs will continue, due to everything that is going on in my life right now. I hope that everyone has had a splendid summer, as it's now coming to an end. I'm actually looking forward to seeing that snow fall again. |
