INSIDIOUS FRUSTRATION

ENTRY #040: Noxxus
DATE POSTED: April 23 2004

Usually I'm pretty good about updating this news section, but I didn't really feel like doing weekly updates or more this past month. It's quite evident that An Aurorous Atmosphere is coming along quite nicely in its lyrical composure. The tracklisting is complete, and I don't intend on making any changes to the tracklisting either. As far as the rest of the Aurora era is concerned, the Black and White EP is nearing completion. It will contain six tracks with Northern Lights being the lead track. The two newest songs, Feelings Gone Astray and Out of My Mind will make an appearance there and probably only there. B-sides have yet to be written for the singles except the Time Will Take Its Time single, which is already completed and ready to go. With the completion of these b-sides and the last remaining track for the Black and White EP will mark the end of the Aurora era, and a new beginning for another.

So what is this "Noxxus" all about? Actually, I don't know what it's going to be about. I was thinking it to be the title for the fourth album, but don't hold your breath because it will probably be changed to something else. Noxxus, however, will be a new song on the upcoming fourth album. Right now it's just an idea, the music or lyrics haven't been written for it yet and they probably won't be written for a while.

So much writing and almost no recording. I realize that I am getting way too far ahead of myself as far as the writing is concerned, but lets just make one thing for certain: Insidious Frustration is not a "real" band that goes around touring and recoring a bunch of stuff. You could call it just a collection of unrecorded songs, or simply just poems. I am on my own here and don't have time or the money to record everything on my own. One of these days the "real" group will be founded and maybe we'll get somewhere. Who knows, I may not even be the lead guy in the band, and we probably wouldn't even be called Insidious Frustration." I never really was satisfied with the band name, but that's the way it has been for a long time now... sometimes it is just too late for change.

All I am hoping is that all of you who actually make a rare visit to this site (because I'm well aware that there are only a few visitors) are enjoying the writing process of our so-called music. There really is music for every song... you just can't hear it. Man, what's the point of that? Not much... just reading the lyrics for the songs I guess. That's what's more important to me anyway is the lyrics.

Alright, I'm gone. My eyes are dried up from staring at this monitor for too long. Have a good one.
