ENTRY #039: Questions That Need Answering

Well I've been asked a few questions as of late and I thought I would take some time to answer them. First of all, someone asked me if I ever keep the Hotbox news up to date. Yes, actually, I do. That goes to show that I haven't got anything done in the recording process for The Life and Mind of Desparity. I have been busy with so many other things that life has been spoon-feeding me, so no progress in the Hotbox.

Another question someone asked me a long time ago is, "The site said it is updated, but I don't see any updates." Well there is a lot of times that I update the site, but not the news section. I usually don't update the news section unless I've got something to say, or it has been a long time since the last update. So if there is an update that you don't notice, it's most likely me editing the html or other problems the site may have. However, I've added something that will let you all know exactly what has been updated on the site. At the bottom of the screen (if you have Windows, sorry I don't care about macintosh) you'll see your status bar. The status bar will let you know when the particular page that you are viewing has last been updated. So now you can chicken-scratch your way through the site and see what's been updated.

If you didn't notice, there's a few songs that have been added to the list since last time. Untitled #48 finally has lyrics written, and it is titled "I Left My Heart Behind." Well since I didn't get to the writing process of this song until long after I wrote the music, the song is technically #50 on the list, not #48. #48 belongs to Tears From the Sky, and #49 belongs to Breathing Space. The 51st song has been written and completed, titled "Going Home." Song #52 and #53 have titles, "Feelings Gone Astray," and "As Far As Impossible," but nothing more than that. There's a good chance that these two songs will be on the album.

I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do about the Black and White EP. So far, only one or two songs have been set aside for the EP. I guess I'll just have to let time handle that situation.

I've finally added a couple of songs to the interpretations section. I promised an update a long time ago, and I've finally fulfilled the promise. I've Given Up Again and To the Depths of Nothing have detailed interpretations now. Check them out if you're really bored and you like to read.
