ENTRY #037: The 50th Song
DATE POSTED: February 27 2004

Even though the recording process for The Life and Mind of Desparity has begun (in which may I add is moving along very slowly), that doesn't mean that the writing process for An Aurorous Atmosphere has stopped. Four new songs have been started. One of the four songs has been finished for a few days now, I just have some re-writing to do with it and it is tentatively titled, "Seeing Stars Within." The idea for this song is not to be released on An Aurorous Atmosphere, but to replace I Won't Know You Anymore as a b-side for the I've Given Up Again single. So this song will be recorded and released along with Gone and Far Away on the I've Given Up Again single, in which I hope to have released in early to middle 2005.

Song number 48 has some music written for it, but has yet to include any lyrics or a title. The song may be on An Aurorous Atmosphere or the Black and White EP, depending how well it turns out. As far as the 49th song goes, there is no official title, though I have been thinking about "Tears on the Sun." The song is largely piano based and contains probably one of Insidious Frustration's best piano compositions. Each An Aurorous Atmosphere song sounds more "closing track" friendly than the last, so The Ballad of the Fading Heart may not be the closing track after all. I guess I should just hold off on deciding which song will be the closing track for now since I keep changing my mind.

Insidious Frustration also celebrates its 50th song, which is to be an interlude linking the first and second halves of An Aurorous Atmosphere. This piano instrumental is titled "Breathing Space."

Well that's all the news for today. When each song is completed in lyrical form, I'll have them posted in the lyrics section. Have a good one, and be good.
