ENTRY #015: Great Progress
DATE POSTED: October 6 2003

Unfortunately I'm not talking about the album. I guess I was wrong when I said that the launch of the new website won't be for a very long time. However, I've taken a different approach. Most people that "launch a new site" close down their website and launch the new site all at once. I've decided to make my changes one by one. As you can tell by the new backgrounds, the new "launch" has started. New wallpapers are available, to a total of five wallpapers. I may design more, if I have the time. But I have to say that I am amazed as to how things are shaping up.

As far as the music is concerned, I've been working on new versions of "Abandon Ship" and "One Step Forward, Two Steps Back." Abandon Ship is turning out to be a melancholy piano epic. One Step Forward, Two Steps Back is turning out to be the opposite. A short, rock song... and I'm sure it will land a spot as a b-side. Oh well, I wasn't all that concerned about that song being on In Reverse.

Speaking of In Reverse, we are running into some difficulty putting the new album together. I guess it is true that the second album always seems to be rough, and I think we just need to sit down and take things at a slower rate. No more writing five songs in one day like I did on July 12. Some of those songs turned out okay, but the others kinda crashed and burned. Hopefully things will start to go our way for In Reverse soon.

Something else I forgot to mention. A new section has been added to the list, song interpretations. It's quite obvious that all the songs in that section are what I like to say "unclickable." Mainly because I spent most of my time creating that particular page with the tables and the names of the songs that I haven't written any of the interpretations yet. Something to look forward to and come back for. Also a new title page for those who didn't notice (I don't see how you couldn't...)
